ABOUT LORAINE:
Loraine started dancing when she was six years of age in Dublin, Ireland. She won Juvenile, Junior, Amateur in All Ireland Championships. Loraine left home when she was 17 and moved to Southport in the north of England. After couple of years the ambitious young lady realised she needed to get to London as that was the epicentre of Ballroom dancing.
Loraine is considered one of the greatest female Ballroom dancers in history with her two most significant dance partners: Andrew Sinkinson and Luca Baricchi.
Loraine’s professional titles include:
– 7 times Open British Ballroom Champion (Youth, Amateur & Professional)
– 4 times World Professional Ballroom Champion and winner of all major events
– Carl Alan Award, 3 times BDF Award, Arthur Murray Award, Prince Mikasa Award
– Head Judge in Dancing with the Stars in Ireland
